Examples of our support

In addition to introducing schools and providing support for procedures,

We are happy to answer various enquiries and provide support.

I'm thinking about transferring schools

Some children change schools (transfer) due to the school's atmosphere, career guidance policy, etc.

In such cases, we provide support, from finding a new school to the transfer procedures, explaining the situation to the current school, greeting them, and negotiating if necessary.

A child who was studying abroad at a Swiss boarding school for a long period of time and had decided to attend a university in the United States, and his parents, contacted us to ask about transferring to a school that offers strong preparation for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

Taking into consideration your child's age and personality, we supported them in everything from finding a school to the transfer procedures.

Your child was able to successfully transfer to the school of their choice, but in the process, the date of the new school's acceptance announcement and the deadline for renewal of their student record at their current school overlapped...

The parents contacted us to discuss the matter, saying that in case of an emergency, they would have to renew their child's student registration, which would mean they would have to pay double tuition fees.We then visited the school directly and negotiated with them.

As a result of the discussion, we were able to avoid having to pay double tuition fees.

Your child is now enjoying life with new friends, while also concentrating on his studies and working towards his desired career path.

I want to meet with the school

Parents whose children attend boarding schools have requested an opportunity to speak directly with the school about their children's dormitory life, a frank exchange of opinions including advice based on their children's current grades, and the school's future career guidance system.

Upon receiving the request, we arranged a meeting with the school, provided interpretation during the meeting, and provided follow-up support as needed after the meeting.

Parents who had many concerns and questions before the meeting were relieved to be able to meet with the academic team, including the boarding team and career guidance staff, ask questions directly, and hear from them.

We received words of gratitude and asked for continued support in the future.

I had a sudden injury

There are licensed nurses and other staff on-site at the boarding house to deal with any sudden illnesses, but we understand that it can still be very worrying if your child suddenly becomes injured or ill.

We received a message from a mother whose child is attending boarding school saying, "My son seems to have broken his arm at school, but the school just says everything is fine and we don't know what's going on. Please let me know how my son is doing."

I immediately contacted the school, but they insisted that everything was fine, and since I didn't know the reason or the child's current condition, I went to the school directly and met with the child.

When I met him, I found out that he had only suffered a simple fracture of the wrist and was in good health. He had broken his wrist while playing tag with his children and fell, and it would take 2-3 weeks for him to recover.

Immediately inform your mother.

The next morning, I spoke to the mother on Skype and she said she was relieved to hear that her son seemed fine. She also thanked me and said she was glad I was there for him.

My child can't get back to school

We received a message from a child who normally attends boarding school and was in Geneva for school business.

"I'm in Geneva now. I need to take the XX train from Geneva Station to get back to school in time!

But I don't know how to ride the tram or the bus...

Which direction should I take to get to the station?

The evening time when I was contacted is when Geneva is at its busiest.

Anyway, I told him to wait there and went to pick him up.

As expected, it looked like we wouldn't make the train in time, so I decided to go and pick him up and then take him to school instead.

I was in Geneva for school business, so the school was tolerant to a certain extent, but I still thought I could be penalized if I was late for curfew without informing them...

So we contacted him and explained the situation. He arrived at the boarding area 15 minutes after curfew, said goodbye to the teacher, and was released without incident.

I got homesick

I started leaving my child at boarding school in September.

The parents contacted our home. They said they had received messages and calls from their child saying they were lonely. They asked us to contact their child every morning and evening.

When daylight saving time ends at the end of October, the time difference between Switzerland and Japan will be 8 hours. There will be no problem communicating in the morning in Switzerland (evening in Japan), but in the evening here, it will be 3am in Japan.

Since our request, conversations with the child via Skype have become a daily routine.

What happened today? I don't like this, I like that...

The main topics of conversation are food and what happened in class that day.

Then one day, I received a message on Skype saying, "I'm lonely!"

With the parents' permission, we immediately went to pick up the child on the weekend and took care of him. Although it was only for one night, he became completely healthy again.

After that, we continued to talk on Skype etc.

The conversations got shorter and shorter, and before I knew it, they were gone...

We provide services that can only be provided by being on-site.
